GSA Analysis Benefits
- Perform day to day analysis and solve complex engineering problems within the same environment
- Spend less time creating models! GSA is developed around a highly intuitive graphical environment, which means more time can be spent on other parts of the design and analysis |
 |
- Integration with Autodesk's Revit Structure and other advanced modelling software will ensure high integrity of model transfer and also accurate model coordination
About GSA Analysis
Get powerful, intuitive analysis
GSA Analysis gives engineers a highly intuitive tool to realise the potential of their design, whatever and wherever it is.
The essential engineering analysis tool
From beams to tall buildings, from simple structures to the most complex, GSA Analysis is the program to help solve engineering problems.
With this software, engineers can easily carry out 3-D linear, P-delta, non-linear static analysis and more. They can also carry out Modal and Ritz vibration analyses with or without the stiffening effects of loads, including seismic and time-history assessment.
Highly intuitive editing makes for rapid model creation and sculpting of models. Because the program is built to work with Revit Structure, users can export from Revit to GSA and update Revit from their GSA models. They can even create new Revit models from GSA.
Originally developed in-house at Arup, GSA Analysis was used on prestigious projects such as Khalifa Stadium in Doha and the Angel of the North in the UK. The software is now the program of choice for leading engineers. |
Staged analysis
Add, remove, and change elements and constraints within analyses
P-Delta analysis
Analyse for the changes in stiffness caused by load
Non-linear analysis
Analyse for geometric and material non-linearity over large deflections
Dynamic analysis
Modal and Ritz analysis, including P-Delta effects
Dynamic response
Seismic, Harmonic, Linear Timer History, and Periodic analyses
Buckling analysis
Modal buckling of 1D & 2D elements, Non-linear buckling of 1D elements
GSA SwitchKeys Utility
A small utility to allow those customers who have multiple variants of GSA shared licences to easily swap between them GSA 8.5 has obtained BD Approval with Program reference: S0794 & S0795. For details, please refer to Hong Kong Buildings Department website. |
